This hotel is comfortable with a really cool vibe and experience due to the art gallery. The bart staff were absolutely amazing: friendly, funny, helpful. Not so much the staff at the desk when we asked for suggestions on where to eat. They pointed us toward closed restaurants. I'd expect more of a hotel concierge.

First time visiting Louisville. Had a business conference and this hotel transformed a business trip into a vacation. All the stall was very friendly and personable. Love the red penguins around the hotel.

Exotic Visit

We have been guests a number of times before and have always enjoyed a variety of rooms, art exhibits as well as the atmosphere of both the restaurant for dinner and/or breakfast and the charming bar. This time we had a special surprise with the room downstairs that had a combination of a 60s Style theme plus a large panel stained glass type dome over an elevated step up platform to the bed. There was a whole bookcase of 60s publications, a stack of album covers half of which I remember well and a turntable. We actually checked in late after a party event and found this eye-popping entertaining surprise setting for our evening in town. Incredibly imaginative.

The hotel is beautiful, The restaurant food was great. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. The only downfall was I stayed there three nights and every morning the hotel staff cleaning the rooms were very very loud in the hallway that actually woke me up. I went out the door and said something, and still nothing happened. I’ll let the front desk know and they apologized, but that was it.
